According to details, more than 70 employees of Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited, most of them tailors, gathered on Peshawar Road to demonstrate against the management for not awarding them bonus with salaries and for usurping their basic rights. The protestors blocked the road by staging a sit in and chanted slogans against the management. As a result, a huge traffic jam occurred on Peshawar Road and its linking roads creating problems for commuters and pedestrians.
