KAMALIA - A pro-active social worker and known trader has stressed the need for raising speed bumps on roads near schools to avert fatal accidents.

Talking to The Nation, Jutt Poultry Traders CEO Ch Tahir Jutt said that the bus and van drivers do not care about traffic signs while travelling on roads leading to schools. Their carelessness and negligence often cause accidents, claiming pernicious lives almost on daily basis, he argued. He said that speed breakers should be put up on roads leading to Laboratory High School, Govt High School No-1, Govt PST College and Kamalia THQ Hospital to avoid all sort of accidents. He said the traffic police personnel should challan rash drivers and traffic law violators.

He pointed out that children are future of the nation and the government must take extra-care about their safety.
