Public cooperation sought for cleanliness

KARACHI  - Acting Nazim Shah Faisal Town, Karimuddin has made a fervent appeal for public cooperation in maintaining and further improving the sanitary conditions in the Town following slashing of budgetary provision, rise in petroleum products and shortage of manpower. Despite all these odds, the provision of a clean and healthy environment is our foremost priority and people should cooperate with the Town administration for further improving the sanitary conditions, he said during a visit to the Town's all the UCs to review cleanliness situation. The Nazim directed the concerned officials to ensure cleanliness in every street and mohallah in consultation with UC Nazims, Naib Nazims and Councillors. Talking to residents, Karimuddin urged them to cooperate with the administration and avoid throwing and burning waste material on roads and footpaths. He said the garbage be dumped at specified places so that iis disposed of timely and in a better way. Mohibullah takes over as Chairman TDP Syed Mohibullah has taken over as the Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). An announcement to this effect was made in a statement of the TDAP here on Saturday. It said that Shah has extensively worked in cross cultural environment in international business, strategic planning and business development, trade and investment promotion, private sector development, corporate and public governance and economic development.
