They told the newsmen that the electricity supply to their hostel has been lying suspended due to which they had been suffering great ordeal in such muggy weather here. They said that the hospital management was not paying attention towards getting the electricity restored.

They said that there were two old hostels of Public Health Nursing Schools Sialkot for the residence of under training nurses and LHVs there.

The management of Kh Muhammad Safdar Medical College (KMSMC) has recently demolished one of the two old hostel buildings without constructing the new hostel building for the nurses and LHVs, they added.

They said that the management of KMSMC was fully aware of the nasty situation, but it has not yet made any remedial measure to facilitate the perturbed under training nurses/LHVs there. The parents of the perturbed nurses and LHVs have also expressed grave concern over this situation. They have urged the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Commissioner Gujranwala Division Capt (r) Muhammad Asif and Sialkot DCO Dr Asif Tufail to look into the matter.
