Lahore - After the England cricket team’s second Test victory, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar M Khan has decided to gift ‘hijabs’ to female staff of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

Earlier the PCB chairman had hosted a reception in the honour of Pakistan cricket team players with their wives soon after the green caps registered the first Test triumph at the Lord’s. The sources told this scribe that Shaharyar took the decision of distributing ‘hijbas’ among ECB female staff to strengthen the bond between the two boards.

“The PCB chairman was very glad with the hospitality and good behaviour of the ECB staff and the way they have been taking care of Pakistani VIPs and national team players. He is doing this to further strengthen the relationships between the two boards and it is also expected that the PCB chief may invite the ECB officials to Pakistan,” the sources added.
