Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in his meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Summit (SCO) in Russia said, "I am happy to meet you, but my mandate is to tell you that the territory of Pakistan must not be used for terrorism". Mr President You had the mandate from the people of Pakistan to tell Mr Singh about the conspiracies RAW agents are hatching within our territory. You could have told him about their efforts to destabilize Balochistan by fueling an insurgency. You could have also pointed out his actions of adding to the Indian troops presence in the Occupied Kashmir and setting up of Indian consulates in Afghanistan to destabilize our Frontier region. Mr President, you have done a disservice to your nation by keeping silent. -DR IRFAN ZAFAR, Islamabad, via e-mail, June 21.
