bannu - Three people -- tribal elder and peace committee member Malik Hashim Khan, his son and nephew -- were killed when unknown miscreants attacked their vehicle on Wednesday in Bannu. According to details, unidentified militants targeted pickup of peace committee member Malik Hashim Khan with remote controlled explosive device in Hawaid police station precincts when he was heading towards Bannu city from Janikhel.
The security forces cordoned off the area after the blast and started a search operation to capture the perpetrators.
