LONDON: The Voice 2012 winner Leanne Mitchell says she’s become the BBC One show’s ‘scapegoat’ after her debut album flopped. Hitting out on Twitter after Danny O’Donoghue questioned her commitment and queried why her music wasn’t released earlier, she raged: ‘Ever get the feeling you’ve been used as the scapegoat?’ Diverting the blame on to her record label, Universal, she continued: ’For the record, I’d written and finished the majority of my album by the end of last summer, around September time.–MN
