ISLAMABAD - Rawalpindi crushed Mianwali by an innings and 276 runs in the Regional Inter-district U-19 Two-day Tournament match here at Marghazar cricket ground on Wednesday. Mianwali were bundled out for 101 runs in 41.1 overs in their second innings. Fida was top scorer with 33 hitting five boundaries and one six while Zeeshan Maqbool added 32 studied with seven fours. No other batsmen could even reach the double figures. Sulman Zafar once again was the pick of the Pindi bowlers as he clinched three wickets for 22 runs while Raheem Ullah and Hamza Sultan took two wickets each conceding 11 and 33 runs respectively. Earlier, Rawalpindi declared their first innings at the overnight total of 466-5 in 68 overs. Shahid Gill was declared man of the match. –Staff Reporter
