Sunni Ittehad Council Pakistan Chairman Sahibzada Hamed Raza has demanded registration of cases under Article 6-A against Taliban for killing more than 40,000 innocent Muslims of Pakistan and provide them death penalty. Addressing a gathering at the condolence reference for departed SIT Chief Sahibzada Fazal Karim, he paid glowing tributes to the late Chief for his services for the glorification of Islam and added that alliance of the SIU would continue with PML-Q. He alleged that worst type of rigging in the recently concluded general election and accused all the institutions concerned for the irregularities and rigging in the election. He accused Rana Sana Ullah Law Minister of the Punjab for patronising leaders of defunct Sipah-e-Sahaba and added that this was not mere accusation but SIU had tangible evidence. He also accused Rana Sana Ullah of encouraging forcible occupation of mosques belonging to Sunni sect in Faisalabad. Replying to a question, he said that the fate of PML-N government would be worst than the PPP government. ROBBED: A truck driver was deprived of cash amount Rs52,000 and cell phone by three armed dacoits near District Complex Hafizabad last night.According to Basharat Ali S/o Muhammad Younas of Taxila, driver of truck No. RIL-6905, he was on way to Jalalpur Bhattian and when he reached near District Complex on bypass Hafizabad, three armed dacoits in a car intercepted him and tied him with a tree on Mangat Road and snatched away cash and cell phone. The police are investigating. Gas theft unearthed: The SNGPL team along with police have raided a place near Geegay village owned by defeated candidate of PP-106 Rai Riasat Ali Kharal where unknown industrialist had set up Feed Factory and was pilfering sui gas for the past sometime without getting valid sui gas connection. According to Rana Imtiaz Ahmad In-charge District SNGPL, the accused had laid underground 2km secret pipeline through which he has been receiving gas supply illegally. When contacted Rai Riasat Ali Kharal said that he had no connection whatsoever with the factory or its owner. The police are investigating.
