The new compound of Chinese embassy was inaugurated recently. A number of guests were invited; unfortunately all guests were federal ministers of PML-N and of course our de facto foreign minister, Shahbaz Shariff. This is serious diplomatic blunder by the Chinese embassy as they did not invite any guest from other parties and other provinces. Would the embassy like to issue a clarification, whether leaders of other parties or chief ministers of other provinces were invited or were invited but did not attend?

If true the incident would convey an impression that the Chinese are only concerned about their business interests which at present are best served by the ruling party. They must remember that Pak-China relations have stood the test of time because they were between the people and not dependent on any one political party or business interests of individuals.
