An appellant tribunal allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to contest elections from NA-53 of Islamabad constituency.

Returning Officer (RO), Additional District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Adnan Khan has rejected Imran Khan's nomination papers along with PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ayesha Gulalai failing to fill clause-N of the affidavit in which they were asked to mention the 'contribution' to their respective constituencies during their tenure as lawmakers.

Imran has appeared before the AT to fill the N-clause of the affidavit submitted with his nomination papers.

PTI chairman mentioned Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Namal University and gave awareness to the nation about their constitutional rights as his contributions.

Imran's papers from Bannu NA-35 was also approved today after they were challenged in the Peshawar appellant tribunal.
