ISLAMABAD - The Prince of Wales has praised Britons for their ‘dig for victory spirit’ after people set about growing their own food during the coronavirus crisis. Charles has suggested that food shortages across the nation may have encouraged many to think about sustainable supplies for the first time, and that the pandemic could lead to a ‘transformation’ of the country’s food and agricultural systems. ‘Perhaps there are one or two silver linings amongst the otherwise very dark clouds which have been affecting us all over the last three months and one of those is the issue of food,’ he told.
