Bilour for interfaith harmony

ISLAMABAD (APP) - Federal Minister for Railways Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour Thursday urged the Muslims to stand united on one platform and remove racial, religious, and other differences and promote peace with interfaith harmony. Federal Minister for Railways Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour said this while addressing a seminar in connection with the birth anniversary of Holy Prophet (PBUH) with the title "Seerat-un-Nabi and interfaith peace ", organized by the Tehrik-e-Akhuwat-e- Islami (TAI). He said that Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) always gave the message of love, peace and brotherhood. Federal Minister for Railways Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour minister said that Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) introduced Islam through his noble character.He said no religion of the world promotes terrorism or extremism. It was the need of the hour to promote peace in the world through interfaith harmony, and remove all hindrances, which have no reality. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was a blessing for the humanity and the Muslim Ummah should fallow his teachings and promote the message of peace in the world. Chairman TAI Inayat Ali Shakir has said Ulema should come forward and restore the image of Islam in the world and spread Islam's message of interfaith harmony. Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme,Farzana Raja also spoke on the occasion and said that government taking steps for the promotion of peace, love, tolerance and unity through interfaith harmony. Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme,Farzana Raja said that not only the government but also Ulema, business community, students, and people from all walks of life should lay their role to end terrorism from the country. Dr Khalid Masood, Dr Khurshid Ahmad, Mrs Robin, Vatelofar, Mufti Abdul Qavi, Maqsood Sulfi, Pir Ali Raza Bhukari,Abdul Rashed, Mufti Hazarvi, Ronal Pervaiz, Father Jan Tanveer, Rajin Singh, and Oum Prekash also spoke on the occasion.
