LAHORE - Forward of Pakistan hockey team Shabir Khan did not report for the second phase of the training which started on March 23 at National Hockey Stadium Lahore. He informed Pakistan Hockey Federation through the fax that his father was seriously ill and was admitted in Agha Khan Hospital Karachi. The PHF detailed Olympian Iftikhar Syed to meet him and check the situation and give help if necessary. Secretary PHF Muhammad Asif Bajwa said that if Shabbir Khan does not report in the camp within two days, Shabir will be replaced with another player for Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament.
