Hypocrisy thy name is American democracy. In the wake of Russian invasion of Afghanistan, it dawned on the American octopus that the Taliban were the crme de la crme. They were aided and abetted with money, material and munitions including stinger missiles and what not. The US guys raised the slogan of Allah-o-Akbar. You had better known that dollar makes the mare go. The Russians stood battered and shattered and now what mattered to the Americans was to exterminate the Taliban. Since 2001 they are raining bombs and missiles on the innocent population. Our rulers, bureaucrats, media, Army and politicians vie with each other to be in the good books of Uncle Sam. Even though, dollar makes the mare go, I would question you, why your conscience does not prick when the innocents are decimated in drone attacks and gunship bombing destroying their ramshackle dwellings. I join you when you mourn the loss of innocents in suicide bombing. Tell me if you are honest: is there any difference between the Pathan and Punjabi mothers? All must support the American war.
