Our politicians after using such terms as the souls of departed leaders would be perturbed due to short comings of their followers. Recently President Zardari during a function of children spoke about his being answerable to Rooh spirit of Bibi Shaheed on the day of judgement. Such statements are preposterous as each human being would be answerable to only Allah Almighty and none else. The rule on that day would rest entirely with Allah Almighty. The departed persons and their spirits remain in Alim-i-barzargh till the day of judgement and any connection between the dead and living does not exist for us mortals. As such alien ideas of souls of departed leaders being perturbed on deeds of their followers should not be propagated by our top leadership to confuse the people. DR.
