HARRY Potter star Emma Watson has become the latest celebrity to be honoured with a waxwork in Madame Tussauds. The actress’s likeness sparkles in a glamorous Elie Saab dress in a new display at the London attraction. The waxwork, which went on display Tuesday, is seated on a chaise lounge, allowing fans of Watson to take a spot next to their idol. “Emma is the perfect addition and we’re very lucky to add her to our A-list lineup,” said Nicole Fenner of Madame Tussauds.  “She’s a true English rose known and loved by millions of film and fashion fans around the world. She will feel right at home among a host of other glamorous personalities and we know she will be a huge hit with all our guests.” Elie Saab donated the backless, embroidered tulle dress to Madame Tussauds after Watson wore it at a 2011 red carpet event in Hong Kong. –DS

The fashion house said: “We are very pleased with the results and now the public will have a chance to see up close the intricate work of this delicate design - as originally worn by Emma herself.”

Watson recently wowed fans by appearing naked and wet in photography book Natural Beauty. It was announced earlier this month that waxworks of One Direction will tour Madame Tussauds locations across the globe from April 18.–DS
