LAHORE – Bearish trend prevailed in Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday as it shed 17.60 points, following the LSE-25 index opened with 4086.72 and closed at 4069.12 points.

The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.909 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.519 million shares, showing an upward move of 390,720 shares. While, out of the total 94 active scrips 15 moved up, 22 shed values and 57 remined equal.

Unilever Pakistan Limitedm, Adamjee Insurance Company and Kot Addu Power Company were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 89.00, Rs 2.05 and Rs 1.05 respectively.

Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Engro Foods Limited and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited lost their per share value by Rs 3.16, Rs 2.30 and Re 1.00 respectively.
