Riphah delegation visits Aiwan

LAHORE – Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Vice Chairman Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad, in his address to Riphah International University students teachers, said on Tuesday revolution could only be brought about by the power of the ballot.
The university delegation arrived on a study tour of the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan. The NPT VC that it is imperative for the people to vote for the candidates who are able, honest and have a firm belief in the ideology of Pakistan. The Riphah university deputy director, Dr Syed Imtiaz Hussain, was also present.
Dr Ahmad observed that Pakistan came into being on the basis of the Two-Nation Theory, as the Muslims and Hindus were two entirely different nations. It was Allama Iqbal who presented the concept of a separate Islamic state. “Our object is to create awareness about the ideology of Pakistan in the new generation, which envisages the establishment of an ideal Islamic society. Starting from scratch, we have managed to raise an infrastructure. God has conferred a measure of prosperity. A uniform curriculum is the need of the hour. The Quaid-i-Azam used to recommend technical education to the students. The doctor employed the multi-media aids while explaining the Two-Nation Theory.”
Dr Hussain said the students intensely loved Pakistan but had scanty information about their beloved homeland. The visit to the Aiwan had fulfilled a pressing need of the students. The students also visited the picture gallery of the Aiwan.
