HAFIZABAD/SHEIKHUPURA - Three persons including two minors were killed in separate incidents of violence and mishaps.

According to detail, in Hafizabad a man was gunned down in suburban Jahanian village by three unidentified accused.

The police have registered a case and sent the body to the morgue for autopsy.

According to police source, Hamed Ullah, son of Allah Ditta was sitting in his cattle-shed in Jahanian village when three armed accused suddenly arrived there and started indiscriminate firing, killing him on the spot.

The motive behind the offence could not be ascertained yet. However, it is presumed that he was shot dead by some of his rivals over old enmity.

In another incident, the dead body of a minor boy who was missing mysteriously for the past three days, was recovered from a Sem Nullah. According to villagers, three-year-old Abdul Tawwab, son of Riaz Ahmad was playing outside his house located near the sem nullah from where he disappeared and his parents went from pillar to post to search him but to no avail. However, his body was found floating in nullah the other day.

In SHEIKHUPURA, an eight-year-old boy died after being hit by a speeding bus on Faisalabad Road near Sikandarabad while catching a stray kite. The deceased Usman, a student of Class-III spotted a stray kite and started running after it to catch it. Meanwhile, on Faisalabad Road a speeding bus knocked him down.
