Honda announces cut in car prices
LAHORE (PR): The Government through its relentless efforts, over the last few months has managed to stabilise Pak rupee against the dollar. This has allowed the government to successfully take on the growing inflation and offer relief to the public at large. This recent strengthening of rupee has also brought down the cost of vehicles and Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited (HACPL) is gladly passing out this benefit to its customers. The new prices will see a decrease of Rs 30000 in Civic and Honda City Aspire. The price for Honda City would be decreased by Rs 40000. We at HACPL support the Government in its efforts towards bolstering the economy of Pakistan.

Burj Bank’s relief activity in Tharparker
KARACHI (PR): Burj Bank Limited extended support to thousands of effected families of Tharparker. In wake of national catastrophes Burj Bank has always been one of the forerunners in disaster management.  Living up to their legacy of extending support in kind and time, volunteers from Burj Bank teamed up with Saylani Welfare International Trust (SWIT) and visited the drought and famine affected areas of Thar for a comprehensive rehabilitation exercise.
The CSR programme was designed to reach out to one thousand households with ration packs containing 30 days basic requirements thus providing them with instant relief. The procurement, packaging and transport of the relief packets was managed by the volunteers of Burj Bank and SWIT. The volunteers from both organizations did not restrict themselves to Mithi alone but also ventured into the most remote and logistically challenging villages like Dhaklo which remained neglected by most relief efforts by various NGOs.

Bank Al Habib declares 20pc cash dividend
MULTAN (PR): The Annual General Meeting of Bank Al Habib was held at its Registered Office in Multan. The shareholders approved the annual accounts for the years ended December 31, 2013. The payment of 20pc cash dividend (Final) and the issue of 10% bonus shares also approved. Deposits of the Bank as on December 31, 2013 were Rs386.161 billion and profit after tax was Rs5.155 billion.

NBP Haj balloting  held
KARACHI (PR): National Bank of Pakistan conducted Hajj-2014 balloting for 25 employees    (5 executives up to VP, 10 officers up to Grade-I and 10 clerical/non-clerical staff)for performance of Hajj on Bank’s expenses. NBP President Syed Iqbal Ashraf, presided over the Hajj balloting ceremony.    A large number of other representatives of the unions and Bank employees were also present. The Bank’s President congratulated the 25 lucky employees who were declared successful in the balloting and said that that they were blessed by the Almighty Allah to perform “Hajj”.

Mobilink celebrates Pakistan Day
LAHORE (PR): Mobilink Foundation continued to celebrate “Pakistan Day” by conducting a clean-up activity on Trail-3 of the Margalla Hills in Islamabad. The annual activity involved nearly 280 participants, including Mobilink Torchbearers (employee volunteers), their families and students from the Pehli Kiran School System.
The environment friendly activity was aimed at promoting the need to preserve Pakistan’s natural habitats and marked Mobilink Foundation’s dedication to promoting a healthier lifestyle with Mobilink employees and their families participating in the clean-up of Trail- 3 from the base all the way to Monal.
