Head of Pakistani Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr Tahirul Qadri was admitted to a hospital in Toronto after he was diagnosed with a chest infection two days earlier.

The prominent cleric was being treated at home before his condition worsened and he was admitted to a private hospital.

Qadri's medical tests were conducted as he remained under observation at the healthcare facility.
