4 including 2 security personnel killed

QUETTA - Four people, including two personnel of law-enforcement agencies, were gunned down in separate incidents of firing in different towns of Balochistan on Wednesday. According to reports, unidentified armed men intercepted a van at Zehri Tehsil of Khuzdar district, some 360 kilometers southwest of Quetta, and opened firing on personnel of law-enforcement agencies, identified as Muhammad Hussain. As a result, he received serious wounds and died. The assailants escaped from the site after committing the crime. On getting information, local administration took the body to hospital for legal formalities, and later sent it to his native town. In another incident, unknown assailants killed a police official in Dera Murad Jamali area of Nasirabad district. Soomar Khan, a police official, was on his way at bus stop of Dera Murad Jamali when unidentified assailants opened firing on him that resulted in his instant death. Attackers managed to flee from the scene. Two people, including a labourer and passer-by were killed in Turbat of Makran Division. Unidentified gunmen riding a motorbike sprayed volley of bullets on labourer, identified as Raj Hasnain that resulted in his death while another passer-by identified as Hazrat Ali was killed on the spot. Police shifted the bodies to hospital and handed them over after autopsy. Police has registered separate cases of all the incidents and started investigations.
