ISLAMABAD Executive member of Islamabad Football Association (IFA) and former information secretary Pakistan Football Federation (PFA) Rana Tanveer Ahmed has appealed to president PFF Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, secretary general PFF Col (r) Ahmed Yar Lodhi and acting president IFA Syed Sharafat Hussain Bukhari to fill the seats of president, general secretary and treasurer of the IFA soon which have been lying vacant since September 2009. Rana Tanveer Ahmed said that 24 out of the total 26 registered clubs of Islamabad have nominated Dr Shahzad Waseem as their candidate for the seat of president IFA. These clubs are Pak Sporting Club, Model Town Club, Jinnah Club, Al-Faisal Club, Falcon Club, Federal Club, CDA Club, Education Club, Evergreen Club, Gangal Club, Ghauri Club, Haidry Club, Huma Club, Islamabad Club, Islamabad United Club, Kiran Club, Mehran Club, Millat Club, Poona Club, Quaid-e-Azam Club, Ramna Club, Ravi Club and Youth Power Club.
