Reiterating his strong stance that Pakistan Air Force is one of the best in the world and can tackle any nefarious design of the enemy, Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Noman Bashir on Thursday underlined that with the induction of JF-17 Thunder fighter jets, country's defence will be reinforced thus a force to reckon. He expressed these views while addressing the graduation ceremony of 124th GDP, 68 Engineering, 82 Air Defense, 8th Admin and Special duty courses and Commissioning parade of 126 GDP and 72 Engineering Courses, The Chief guest of the parade was Naval Chief Admiral Nouman Bashir. Air Chief Marshall Rao Qamar Suleman and Commanding Air Vice Marshall Hafiz ullah were also present. While addressing a smartly turned parade in Risalpur, Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Noman Bashir was of the view that PAF's responsibilities have increased manifold with the passage of time and with the turn of events. He urged that it is our duty to discharge these responsibilities to the best of our ability and to the satisfaction of the Government and the people of Pakistan. Admiral Noman Bashir further said that the primary role of the PAF as a potent fighting force is to maintain optimum preparedness at all times. The Admiral also stressed that while the PAF today can boast of a wide variety of military hardware in its inventory, it should not be forgotten that it is the quality of fighting men that is the real force multiplier. Their courage in difficult situations and willingness to work beyond the call of duty are great assets indeed. The Admiral emphasized that PAF is fully prepared to fight and prevail through the attributes of superior training, professional excellence and above all faith in our cause. He said that country's Armed Forces, fully capable of protecting our maritime interests and maintaining deterrence. PAF has emerged as an effective instrument of the country's defence and foreign policies, capable of showing presence in our area of interest while fully contributing in nation building. I am happy that women too are putting in extra efforts thus becoming a part of the institution and representing Pakistan in PAF which is extra ordinary, he stressed. PAF defense system is impregnable adding recently inducted JF-17 Thunder fighter jets have enormous capability besides Early Warning System and Air to Air Refuellers have made PAF well equipped to tackle any challenge. He further added that soon Pakistan would get more latest and sophisticated F-16 fighter jets. Meanwhile President Asif Ali Zardari in his message on PAF Passing out Parade on Thursday underlined that PAF is undoubtedly the best in the world and fully equipped to tackle any nefarious design of the enemy adding country's defense is in safe hands due to PAF. He was of the view that induction of SAAB 2000, JF-17 thunder fighter jets and refuellers etc will further strengthen PAF urging Government and Nation is proud of its armed forces thick and thin. He said that PAF is equipped to tackle any challenge however latest and sophisticated techniques are still required to enhance its undermined areas.
