KARACHI (APP) - Pakistan can have free market access to various countries like United States, Germany, Turkey, India, China, GCC market through United Arab Emirates at Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK-FTZ). Pakistans private sector people have been invited to expand their businesses to RAK-FTZ including setting up warehouses for selling their goods to different regional markets without any barrier. Business Development Manager, RAK-FTZ Authority Ms. Nilofar Faaliyat, during her presentation here at Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday said RAK-FTZA has its liaison offices and UAE has Consulates in the above countries who will help in selling Pakistani products there. She highlighted salient features/ competitive advantages of RAK-FTZ which included 100 percent ownership, no corporate or income taxes, warehouses and land adjacent to ports. She answered various queries from KCCI members relating to the Zone. Earlier, President KCCI Abdul Majid Haji Muhammad spoke of the role of Karachi Chamber in promotion of industry and trade within and outside the country. He also presented various proposals aimed to promote trade and investment between Pakistan and UAE.
