LAHORE (PR) - The farmers community held its first gathering organised by Four Brothers Group in which approximately 1,200 farmers participated who appreciated groups agricultural products. They pledged to encourage the said organisation for the uplift of the farmers. The speakers on the occasion said that they would not only prefer to use the products made by the Four Brothers but also urge their farmer companions to use them. Chairman of the group said that agriculture is the backbone of the country, adding that no country can make progress without giving special attention to it. He also said that farmers are the sole community of the country, which is going to be suppressed since decades in the name of so-called rules and regulations. He said that before this we used to feel loneliness but Four Brothers group had eliminated our sense of deprivation and provide us an opportunity to express our notions pertaining to the development and advancement of farmer community. Chairman Four Group, Javed Qureshi, said that the development of any country depended on agriculture and it is regrettable to say that farmer community is the sole group which has no voice to raise for rights. He appealed the farmers to use the products introduced by Four Groups adding that if they felt any fault in it, they should inform the management of the organisation, so that it may be make better. In the last, the group distributed costly rewards among the farmers including 3 drill machines, 10 motorcycles, 10 coloured TVs, 70 spray-machines, tickets for Umra and a tractor The organisation representative said that with the passage of time we would organise further such meetings in order to reflect over problems faced by farmers.
