BoP inks deal with Daewoo

LAHORE (PPI) - The Bank of Punjab has signed an agreement with Daewoo Pakistan Motorway Services Limited (DPMSL) for providing cash management solutions on M-2. The subject agreement was signed by Mr Khalid S Tirmizey, Deputy CEO of the Bank and JH Kim, CEO DPMSL. The BoP is the first bank to provide banking services on the motorway. In the first phase a drive through ATM shall be installed at Bhera (North) which will facilitate commuters as well companies operating in the Motorway Service Area (MSA) for withdrawing Cash under One-Link ATM network. Likewise with passage of time it is anticipated that the number of ATMs installed on M-2 shall gradually increase. Furthermore, BoP shall be offering Cash Management Services to DPML. BoP is the sixth largest bank operating in Pakistan with a nationwide network 273 branches located in 130 cities. Daewoo is famous in Pakistani market as a symbol of quality of services. They developed ten modern state of the art Motorway Service Areas (MSA), along the Lahore-Islamabad motorway. DPMSL is engaged in providing services to commuter and striving towards success with a vision of becoming the leading motorway service provider. This partnership will help to serve motorway commuters in a more efficient manner.
