LAHORE City petrol pumps were supplied about 25 to 30 per cent petrol of their demands as result the shortages of fuel continued on Thursday. Majority of petrol filling stations were witnessed long queues of bikes and other vehicles on the second day of the petrol shortages. Petroleum Dealers Association said that they had been supplying about 25 per cent of their demands from last 15 days. Oil refineries had stopped refining oil as the major oil companies were not paying their dues, he added. The Association Vice-president Ch Sadiq said that central Punjab and Lahore was facing more shortages. About 330 petrol filling stations are situated in the city and it is likely that situation become normal after two days.
