LAHORE - Pakistan rugby hired an IRB-qualified coach Mike Pirrit from New Zealand for preparations for the upcoming HSBC Asian 5 Nations Division III tournament to be held in Jakarta. Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) introduced Pirrit to the press during a news briefing, who is a qualified IRB educator. Pirrit has been recommended by IRB Asia Regional Manager Jarrad Gallagher. Mike is in Pakistan for a two-month period and will travel with the national team to Jakarta. PRU president Fawzi Khawaja welcomed Pirrit and hoped that his presence would immensely improve the standard of the game in the country.
