CHINIOT - The PML-N showed muscles in a rally against loadshedding and price hike and blocked traffic adding to the miseries of passengers. 

PML-N took out the rally against the government to express their anger against issues of loadshedding, energy crisis, price hike, poor economic condition and increasing petroleum prices.  The rally started from Badshahi Mosque Chiniot and after passing through various streets and bazaars, it culminated at Tehsil Chowk.

The rally was led by party district leader Mehr Aftab. Addressing the rally, PML-N leaders After, Sheikh Naseem Elahi; Manzar Abbas and others condemned the corruption of federal government that had put Pakistan on verge of bankruptcy.

They said that the PPP-led government had not only badly failed in resolving the issues of public but also made Pakistan victim of loneliness among nations in the world due to wrong foreign policies.  They also condemned the violated of Supreme Court decisions by the government.

The traffic from all sides was jammed due to protest which could be restored after about two hours and people and passengers in high temperature had to sit in buses and vans.  But police made no effort to rescue people from this traffic blockade.
