ISLAMABAD - Vigo Champ Subh-e-nau National Tennis Championship 2012 will start today at Islamabad Club; Chairperson Subh-e-Nau said in a press conference held here at on Saturday.
She said this event is a good opportunity for players to practice, Yasir Niazi, Resident Director Indus Toyota Motors, and Dr  Farrukh Chishti also accompanied her in the briefing.
She said that SN would disburse a total prize money of Rs .5 million among players and event would be an open event, proceeds from the tournament would go to the SN disability and rehabilitation projects.
she said that she kept herself and her organization away from politics and believes in sports promotion. She thanked all the sponsors for their cooperation specially hailed Toyota Indus Motor for their kind support and title sponsorship.
Yasir Niazi, Resident Director Toyota Indus Motors, said that he was pleased to sponsor such an event and promised to continue support in future too.
He said Indus Motors had sponsored many sporting events and feels it is their responsibility to boost sports in the country.
Matches will start at 8:30am today, Shehzad Akhtar Alvi, Tournament Referee, taken out draws of qualifying rounds.
