ISLAMABAD - Hafiz Saeed's Jamat-ud-Dawa is all set to hold a grand rally in Islamabad tomorrow, the day Pakistan had tested nuclear weapons sixteen years back in 1998.
"In a solidarity with Pakistan army, Jamat-ud-Dawa is planning a huge rally in Islamabad celebrating the day as ' Yaom-e-Takbeer," Hafiz Saeed said Monday in a message to his workers and colleagues.
He reiterated his stance that India and United States of America were Pakistan's major enemy, hence, Pakistan needs to deal both of them with an iron hand.
"Thousands of people will attend the rally to express solidarity with Pakistan armed forces on 28 May. In twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, workers of Jamat-ud-Dawa are going door to door to invite residents to attend the rally," a statement issued by the organization said.
Noted leaders including Hafiz Saeed and Liaqat Baloch will address the rally.
Officials of the Islamabad police said, they are unaware of any demonstration taking place in Islamabad on 28 may. However, a spokesperson of Islamabad police said, the ICT police have already beefed up security in the capital city.
