LAHORE - Sector Commanders Conference of Punjab Rangers was held at Headquarters Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), Lahore, says a press release.

The meeting was chaired by Punjab Rangers Director General Major General Umar Farooq Burki and attended by all commanders and principle staff officers.

Matters pertaining to training, administration, welfare and professional preparedness were reviewed, caveats were spotted and necessary measures were adopted to ensure improvement. The moot also dilated upon border management and internal security issues.

The director general expressed his satisfaction over state of training and operational preparedness, and directed all commanders to put in all out efforts to further build upon the existing standards to meet the upcoming challenges under the evolving environments.

The director general appreciated the devotion, courage and dedication of Rangers troops in performing operational as well as Internal Security tasks against all odds.

Major General Umar Farooq Burki reiterated the resolve and the commitment of Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) to remain steadfast in facing the multiple challenges confronting the national peace and security in cohesion with other law enforcement agencies.
