HOLLYWOOD heartthrobs Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman have raised thousands of dollars for charity by auctioning their sweaty stage vests on Broadway. After their performance of A Steady Rain, they offered to sell the vests off their backs to the highest bidders. The signed vests were eventually sold to two women for $3,500 each. The money raised will go to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS which provides services for people with AIDS and other critical illnesses across the US. The James Bond and Wolverine stars also offered to meet audience members backstage and pose for pictures if they stumped up $2,000. Signed programmes were also on sale to punters for $60, as well as signed posters for $300. Craig and Jackman play two Chicago policeman who ara childhood friends and whose lives are changed forever by a tragic sequence of events. BBC
