QUETTA - A policeman was gunned down in Jaffarabad while a youth was abducted from Quetta Saturday. Reportedly, Muhammad Rafiq fired shots at policeman Muhammad Hussain in Goth Dargi in Chattanpati police limits in Jaffarbabad, wounding him critically. Hussain succumbed to injuries before reaching hospital. Police arrested Farooq and recovered a TT pistol from him. However, the motive behind murder is to be ascertained yet. Separately, gunmen abducted 18-year-old Noor Ahmed from Allahabad Road of Quetta when he was on his way. Police have started investigation.
