LAHORE A retired government officer has alleged that five policemen including a Sub-Inspector looted his home and later lodged a bogus FIR against him on personal grudge on Saturday in Ichra police area. According t0 details, one Saif ur Rehman alleged a police constable namely Abu Bakar quarreled to his neighbor. During this quarrel, I admonished Abu Bakar to avoid indulging him as it was against the dignity of a government officer but Bakar turned his mind against me, he stated. Meanwhile, a Sub-Inspector Riasat Ali along with his four subordinate constables namely Abu Bakar, Ehsanul Haq, Muhammad Mohsin and Afzaal Ahmed raided Saifs home. They collected Rs 0.1 million in cash, two tola gold and other valuables worth million of rupees and even misbehaved with my family members, the victim said, adding later he learnt that an FIR has been lodged against him with Ichra police station on charges of running gambling den. The victim Saif ur Rehman as appealed to the CCPO Lahore and IG Punjab to take due action against the guilty police officers.
