OUR STAFF REPORTER CHINIOT The incumbent government has given nothing but price hike, unemployment, lawlessness, gas and electricity loadshedding and has aggravated their miseries. This was stated by PTI Faisalabad Division Organizer former Senator Tariq Chaudhry at a function wherein former District Nazim Mian Shoukat Ali Thaheem joined the PTI here the other day. A welcome rally leaded by PTI District President Dr Qazim Nazir Atif, former Senator Tariq Chaudhry and other PTI leaders rounded the city roads and concluded at Dera Mian Shoukat Ali Thaheem. Later, Mian Shoukat along with his hundred activists announced joining the PTI and pledged to work as ordinary worker for the party. On the occasion, dozen of former Nazims, political figures lawyers; landlords and councilors announced joining the PTI. Later, addressing a press conference, PTI District President Dr Qazim Nazir along with Mian Shoukat Ali Thaheem said that after coming to power their party would bring the looted money back from foreign countries and spend it on uplift projects and welfare of the masses. They urged the people to vote for the PTI to get rid of corrupt rulers. They alleged that the members of the PPP-led government were indulged in plundering national exchequer to stuff their bank accounts in foreign countries. While criticising the ruling leaders, they said that the poor were dying of hunger and ending their lives due to poverty, but the rulers were enjoying foreign tours along with their relatives and friends. The PTI leaders said that the PPP and PML-N had the same agenda to appease their western bosses. They claimed that the popularity graph of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was rising continuously in the country. Political personalities belonging to different parties or independents are joining the PTI in large numbers, they added. Landlord killed: Four cattle-lifters shot dead a landlord in Hersa Sheikh village when he offered resistance here the other night. According to police source, four bandits intruded into the Haveli of Nawaz, son of Sher M, a resident of Mauza Hersa Sheikh. Meanwhile, he woke up and offered resistance. Thereupon, the accused opened indiscriminate fire at him. Resultantly, M Nawaz died on the spot. The Saddar Police have registered a case. The inhabitants of village alleged that the Saddar Police reached the spot but did not try to search the dacoits and later they manage to escape from the scene.
