LAHORE CIA police have arrested a man in connection with the killing of three factory workers, who were found slaughtered from their residential quarters in Islampura area on Friday. The arrested suspected accused has been identified as Muhammad Nazir, said to be real brother of one of the deceased. The police took him into custody as he arrived at the crime scene. During interrogation, police sources said, the accused confessed to the police that he had killed his brother and two nephews as he wanted to implicate his opponents in the triple murder case. The bodies of the factory workers namely Iqbal Afzal, 40, Ali Raza, 25, and Khizar Hayat, 23, were lying in a pool of blood next to each other as the police investigators rushed to the crime scene. On Friday morning, some factory workers spotted their dead bodies as they arrived at the factory for daily working and disclosed the happening to the police by phone. The youth Ali Raza and Khizar Hayat were brothers and resident of a village (39/4-L) of Okara district while Iqbal Afzal was their uncle. Meanwhile, two unidentified persons died mysteriously in separate police areas in the City on Saturday. According to the details, a 50-year-old anonymous person was found dead in Nulakha police area. After recovering the body from Bohar Wala Chowk, police concerned claimed the deceased was a drug addict. While, a 40-year-old unknown person died in Lower Mall area. Police after being informed reached the spot and shifted the dead body to the City morgue for autopsy.
