Babucracy’ of the Health Department in KPK is relying on delaying tactics in finalizing pension cases. This is in disregard to a judgment passed by the Honorable Supreme Court, dated Feb 21, 2013, regarding early finalization of pension cases of the retired government servants. The Honorable Supreme Court has given a stipulated period of, not more than two weeks time to finalize pension cases. One such example is my case. I retired as senior medical officer from Provincial Health Department of KPK and all my pension papers are complete but no action has been taken by the Secretary Health, KP thus causing undue delay for reasons best known to him. This utterly pathetic attitude of Provincial Health Department is blatant violation of the above mentioned judgment of the apex court.
