QUETTA - Anti-Terrorism Court declared three accused including former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Balochistan Governor Owais Ghani as proclaimed offenders in Nawab Akbar Bugti murder case.

The court headed by ATC Judge Mr. Tariq Anwar Kasi started hearing of Bugti murder case here Tuesday. Former federal minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao also appeared before the court.

However, former provincial home minister Shoaib Nosharwani could not appear before the court due to illness and submitted an application which was approved.

The court disposed off the petition of Pervaiz Musharraf seeking exemption from appearing before the court personally and declared former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Governor Owais Ghani and DCO Dera Bugti Abdul Samad Kasi as proclaimed offenders for not appearing before the court. The court also ordered for confiscating their property.

The court directed the investigation team to get details of Musharraf’s bail in the Supreme Court and produce the ex-president’s guarantor if he fails to appear before the court in next hearing. The case was later adjourned until December 24.
