LAHORE - Jamaat-i-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hasan has convened meeting of the JI Central Executive at Mansoora on November 30th.
The party’s Central Executive will discuss the political situation obtaining in the country and decide the future line of action of the party. It will also review the preparations of the party for the Local Bodies elections scheduled to be held next year.  It would also discuss the situation surfaced after recent US drone strike in Hangu.    
Jamaat-i-Islami  leadership grieved over train/ bus mishaps Jamaat-i-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hasan and Secretary General Liaquat Baloch have expressed deep grief over the train/ bus/ rickshaw mishaps at Gujranwala and Sehwan resulting in the death of over a dozen people, most of them children.  They expressed their condolences with the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls.
