LAHORE - Domestic gas consumers are facing hardship in the metropolis owing to gas loadshedding and low pressure that has affected rountine work.

Though there was no significant temperature drop in November, the residents of different localities including Johar Town (BOR Society), Taj Pura, Joriya Pul, Saddar, Kasur Pura, Sabzazar, Chungi Amarsidhu, Madina Colony, Makka Colony, Rajgarh, Shera Kot are facing difficulties.

They said that they were facing problems in food preparation especially in the morning.

The residents said they used liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as an alternative but it was not affordable.

The citizens urged the authorities concerned to take steps for regularising the gas supply during the winter season.

According to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) spokesman, low gas pressure was normal during winter season.However, he said, the company was trying its best to ensure smooth supply of gas to its consumers irrespective of their localities.
