Prominent religious scholar Allama Akhtar Hussain Chishti has urged the masses to seek inspiration from the great sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and fight against tyranny and terrorism to put the country on the path to progress and development. He said that at Karbala the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and His grandson offered supreme sacrifice to uphold the golden principles of Islam against evil powers. He stated this while addressing a conference on Shahadat-e-Hussain (RA) at Jamia Masjid Mohallah Dhupsari here the other day.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Haji Muhammad Ramzan and Maulana Muhammad Ismail revealed that Karbala tragedy remembered as a historical event which had set lasting example of sacrifice for upholding truth and principles. They further said, “Ashura gives us a message of making any sacrifice for upholding the principles of truthfulness and Islamic values. The Muslim Ummah is passing through a difficult phase and confronting problems and challenges of extremism and terrorism. Today, the Ummah needs the spirit of Karbala. With spirit of sacrifice and unflinching determination, we can overcome difficulties.”
|They narrated, “The best way to pay tributes to the martyrs of Karbala is to make commitment on the day to work and devote ourselves for the development and strengthening of Islam and Pakistan. The day is a reminder of how to stand up for the right with dauntless courage for freedom and justice and serves as a glowing example for the entire humanity.”
FAREWELL DINNER: Khushab District Scouts Secretary Abid organised a farewell dinner in honour of former District Planning and Development Officer Syed Feroze Iqbal Shah at Government Secondary School Mohallah Farooqabad here the other night.

According to a survey conducted by this scribe, prices of fruit, vegetables and chicken continue to rise for the past many weeks. A number of customers complained that shopkeepers were violating the price lists issued by the market committee to the shopkeepers and vendors.
