Wapda woes

Wapda continues to play games with consumers on regular bases. No one has any idea when is their billing date and when is the due date. They must have some educated people who know the general rules of running an organization? Seeing the unlimited corruption inside this organization gives rise to the thought that illiterate people are running it just like so many other money losing organizations in Pakistan. I received my bill for October, which said that the reading had been taken on 28 October and worse was issued on November 1. These anomalies are a routine.
I do not mind paying the extra Rs 2,000, but when this happens to the poor people all the time and to get their bills corrected costs them more then the surcharge then people will sure curse the organisation and how badly it is run.
AURANGZEB,
Swat, November 22.
