VALLETTA: The three-day 24th Commonwealth heads of government summit begins at Valletta in Malta on Friday.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will represent Pakistan at the summit, whose this year's theme is 'Adding Global Value'.

He will present Pakistan's point of view on violent extremism and radicalism, Sustainable Development Goals and migration.

On the sidelines, the Prime Minister will hold meetings with British Prime Minister David Cameron, French President Francois Hollande and Prince Charles of Wales.

He will attend a banquets separately hosted by the British Queen and Prime Minister of Malta Joseph Muscat.        

Pakistan is one of the eight founding members of the Commonwealth, and is enhancing its relations with the organization.
