Rawalpindi: A rally to spread awareness about climate change was held at Riphah International University. 

Students of Riphah Institute of Media Sciences have launched a campaign to educate the masses about changing climate and necessary safety measures for the disasters it brings.

The campaign has been launched under the title of 'Wake up to build Pakistan'. 

The event was attended by prominent academic and social activist, Ali Moeen Nawazsih, local PPP leader Zamurd Khan and PMLN leader Arshad Mehmood Qureshi among others. 

Speaking at the event, guests pressed the need take climate change seriously, as is being taken all over the world. They emphasized the need to prioritize the issue on a national level.

Ali Moeen Nawazish, in his short speech mentioned how climate change is dominating news all over the world. He stressed on the responsibility of students to take the task of educating public to themselves. 

The rally was a part of global climate march organized by 350.
