Islamabad - Ivy Youth Leadership Olympiad 2015, a three-day international Inter-school and college annual talent competition at Roots Ivy International Schools Pakistan and Roots School System, DHA1 campus Islamabad began yesterday with a grand opening ceremony. Roots Ivy is known for having the largest talent competitions and most well-reputed inter school and college extra-curricular student activities in Pakistan for the past decade. Ivy Youth Leadership Olympiad 2015 signifies the cohesion of vision, leadership and intellect enabling students to recognize their talents and come up with ingenious and innovative ideas to compete with the nation’s best. Over 5,000 students from all over Pakistan as well as from prestigious institutes all over the world participated in this illustrious event. The competitions include Pakistan National Assembly (The Youth Parliament), Youth Perspective on Human Rights Laws, Young Diplomats Caucus (Creating Young Diplomats), Literature Boulevard, Declamation Contest, Ad-Making, E-Gaming, Battle of the Bands, Fashion Show, Business Idea Contest, Math Olympiad, Master Chef , Street Graffiti, Thematic Art, Talent Hunt/ Treasure Hunt/ Amazing Race, Dramatics and Photography contest.
Khadija Mushtaq, CEO Roots Ivy International Schools officially inaugurated the three days talent competition and welcomed all the guests and delegates along with their respective teachers from educational institutes all over the nation. She encouraged them to avail such dynamic opportunities to explore their hidden talents and compete with the nation’s best. She also congratulated the entire Roots Ivy/ DHA1 campus team and students for their tremendous efforts. National Arts Spectrum is being held from the 26th to 28th November 26 to 28, 2015 marking the sixth edition of this incomparable success. This dynamic event will be held at our flagship campus in DHA, phase 1, Islamabad and Roots Ivy International University College Rawalpindi. The entire Roots Ivy Olympiad team worked extremely hard to make this event an amazing and out of this world experience. The biggest names in literature, science, arts, cookery, fashion, movie and music industries were invited to be a part of this mega event. Impressive performances by the participants stole each show overwhelming the crowd and making them give a thunderous applause leaving the audience spellbound. An exhilarating dinner was especially organised for all the students and delegates who had worked day and night to make the Olympiad a massive hit. Due to the abundance attendance of delegates and participants, this year’s Ivy Olympiad was declared to be the best ever Olympiad held at Roots School System DHA1/ Ivy International setting another milestone en-route promoting inter-school/ college talent and skills.
