KP hospitals to be revamped

PESHAWAR - On the special directives of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the Health department has decided to immediately start work on a mega project of strengthening all the District Headquarters Hospitals of the province.
The project includes complete renovation, face lifting, provision of medical equipment’s, solid waste management, while wash and repair work in these hospitals.
According to estimates, the project will cost two billion rupees and work in all the hospitals will be completed in six months.
This was decided at a meeting held here on Thursday with Senior Minister for Health, Shahram Tarakai in the chair.
He said that all available resources would be utilized for strengthening the district headquarters hospitals to ensure the provision of quality healthcare facilities to the people at their door steps.
